Eleanor Morton

About Eleanor

Eleanor Morton is a Scottish Stand-up, writer and actor based in London. Notable recent gigs include tour support for Lost Voice Guy, and The Comedy Underground on BBC Scotland. She is also a performer with the acclaimed comedy groups Weirdos, Comedians Cinema Club and ACMS. Her 2014 show ‘Lollipop’ and her 2018 show ‘Great Title, Glamorous Photo’ are both available to watch on Next Up. Her most recent Fringe show, ‘Post-Morton’ received rave reviews in Edinburgh for its sharp and witty takes on millennial life and mental health.

Eleanor is also a writer, and has a Masters in script writing from Met Film School. Recent projects include a live read through of her script ‘Bonney and Read’ at The Soho Theatre, articles for satirical magazine Succubus and developing scripts with several different production companies. She has also written for The News Quiz, The Now Show and News Jack on BBC Radio 4, BBC Scotland, as well as appearing on Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra and as a panellist on BBC Radio Scotland’s Breaking The News. Her most recent TV appearance was as a stand-up was on BBC’s Scotland’s The Comedy Underground.
