Trevor Lock first went on the telly with Lee and Herring, on radio with Radio 4 and on tour with Stewart Lee. He starred in all three series of Channel 4’s British Comedy Award winning, BAFTA nominatedStar Stories, wrote plays for Radio 4, recorded stand up for Comedy Central and has addressed the Oxford Union on the meaning of life. The Scotsman once described him as‘Funny, moving and clever.’ TimeOut, simply as‘hilarious’ and culture website Spoonfed thought he could‘probably win an award for the most laughs in a minute.’The Sunday Times wrote ofthe‘superbly comic writing’ of his plays on the Edinburgh Fringe. Since 2014 he has touredCommunity Circle across the world A two hour “social experiment” in which there are no jokes and no actual content and which seemingly doesn’t even begin. In their respective 5 star reviewsCommunity Circle has been described by The Daily Mirror as‘The most fun you can have without taking your clothes off.’ And in The Scotsman Kate Copstick wrote that it‘blew me away … a masterclass in comedy performance’. In 2019 Gender Studies – Girl v Boy, a playful and inadvertently controversial, game show, in which a team of “boys” and a team of “girls” participate in a variety of experiments played the Edinburgh Fringe, the Barcelona International Comedy Festival, Singapore and Tokyo, The Scotsman saying“It might not be very woke but it is great fun – the way forward for identity politics.”2020 saw another experiment called “Who Do They Think You Are” in which guests and audience members are invited to make judgements about one other on the basis of their appearance. Trevor has toured across the word, including a 50 date tour of his fans sitting rooms in the UK in 2012, he was Japan's 3rd biggest selling overseas comedian in 2019 behind only Dave Chappelle and Trevor Noah, he also performs in Spanish. In 2021 he started a brand new project called REALIiTY GAM3S in which he assigns members of the public tasks and exercises designed to alter their perception of reality.
